Broadwater Park & The Godalming Navigation
Broadwater Park has plenty to keep families with a play area, ducks to feed, a lake to walk around and waffles to try. But just across the road is The Godalming Navigation, which makes a walk here even more interesting as you can watch the barges traverse the locks.
Chiddingfold
Chiddingfold is a gorgeous Surrey Hills village with fine homes and a timber framed pub set around a large green. Our walk starts from the recreation ground with small play area and heads across farmland and bluebell woodland with river a river running through.
Witley Common
Witley Common comprises a variety of landscapes from sunny, sandy heathland to green, wooded glades. A walk here is an absolute joy for all ages, and it is made all the more enticing by the rustic wooden play features found near the start of the trail.
Dunsfold
Step into the enchanted land of Mill Hanger near Dunsfold, where bluebells, wild garlic, bird song and a meandering river produce a scene so beautiful in May time that you will think you are in a fairy tale. Complete the adventure with a visit to the ridiculously good rustic playground beside the charming village green.
Winkworth Arboretum
Visit the landscaped arboretum to see the colours change with each season. If you walk here in autumn, you will witness the glory of shades of gold, amber and red. Walk here in spring to see carpets of bluebells.
