Iping and Stedham Commons
These special heathland habitats are rich with wildlife including dragonflies and swathes of purple heather in late summer.
Rockford Common
At the far western edge of Hampshire is this must do walk for families with a huge sandpit to explore, a ford to paddle in and plenty of New Forest ponies.
Thursley & Hankley Common
There is plenty of variation on this walk from pine woodland to open heathland. The pretty village of Thursley makes a good resting point halfway with its pub and park.
